随着时间的推移，风吹日晒雨淋，钙质凝灰岩逐渐风化破碎，形成大量碎石。这些碎石覆盖在火山锥表面，被雨水冲刷成奇形怪状的坡地，并长满了茂盛的植被。就这样，腾冲火山从一座座荒山秃岭变身为了如今满目葱茏的绿色丘陵。

疑火山黑洞通往何处？

腾冲火山群中，最引人注目的莫过于神柱谷的柱状节理。这些巨大六棱形的岩柱竖立在山坡上，形似一根根擎天柱，让人仿佛置身于异时空。

柱状节理的形成过程颇为神奇。火山喷发时，岩浆从火山口喷出，沿着裂缝流淌。当岩浆遇到地下水或空气时，急剧冷却收缩。在收缩过程中，岩浆体内部产生巨大的应力，沿着垂直于冷却面的方向均匀破裂，形成六棱形的岩柱。

神柱谷的柱状节理共有100多个，最高可达40余米。它们排列整齐有序，规模之大、发育之完整，堪称我国火山地质景观的典范。

Lava tunnels form when a river of molten lava flows through a channel and then cools and solidifies. As the lava flow continues, the roof of the channel collapses, leaving behind a hollow tube. These tunnels can be hundreds of meters long and wide enough for humans to navigate.

In Tengchong, several lava tunnels have been discovered, including the famous Nine-Dragon Cave. This cave is over 1,000 meters long and features a series of chambers and passages adorned with stalactites, stalagmites, and other cave formations. Visitors can take guided tours through the cave and witness the beauty of this underground wonderland.
